How to read this map
- We count three things for each country: prayer requests sent, prayers offered, and visits. We never record who a person is or where exactly they are — only "one more for Kenya".
- In some countries, praying to Jesus can put a person in danger. For those countries we never show figures: only "fewer than 10" or "10 or more", checked once a day. This is a standing rule of Praying Wall.
- Some prayers can't be placed on the map. They are still counted in the world totals.
- The notes on faith and custom are a short introduction to each region, not the whole story, and they can't speak for every person. If we have described your home poorly, please tell us.
- Borders and names follow public reference maps and international country codes. They are shown to help you find your way and are not a statement about any territory.
